પંજા નાંખતો આવિયો સિંહ ડાલામથ્થો કાળઝાળ,
દાઢાળો હાલિયો દેતો ડુંગરા ડણક,
હાથીઆં મૃગરાં ઝુંડ ભાળીયાં પૃથીરે માથે,
લાગીયા, કેતારાં કેતાં કરે નાં બણક.

ભુહરી લટાળો,અતિ ક્રોધ વાળો, કોપ વાળો,
ઢાળે નશાં મોટ ઢાળો, કરતો હુંકાર,
સાંધે ફાળ વિકરાળ, કાળહંદો જાણે કાળ,
ચૂકે નહી એક થાપે, સાંધીયો શિકાર.

ધરાણો રોષ ન ધરે, ભુલથી ન પાછાં ભરે,
લાંઘણ્યો હોય તો કદી ખાય ન અખાજ,
છેતરી પેંતરો બાંધી કરે ન શિકાર કો’દી,
અટંકો ફેફરાં ફાડે કેહરી અવાજ.

વિરતાને વરેલા છે, ધીરતા ગંભીરતા ને,
સ્થિરતા ન છોડે એવા કુળરાં પ્રમાણ,
ગીરરાં કંઠીર કરું કવી કે ‘વખાણ કે’તાં,
ઘુમંતાં તાહરાં ટોળાં કરે ઘમસાણ.
